Upgrade your diesel engine’s power and reliability with the Stage 1 Engine Overhaul-Rebuild Kit. Designed for daily driving and heavy towing, this kit delivers over 40 horsepower and 70 ft-lbs of torque beyond factory specs. Additionally, it improves turbo spool time and lowers exhaust gas temperatures (EGTs). Although it works well with single non-VGT turbo setups, custom tuning will help you maximize performance.
Key Components of the Stage 1 Engine Overhaul-Rebuild Kit
The kit includes 8 new HD INTERNATIONAL Maxxforce 7 Pistons available in STD, .010, .020, .030, and .040 bore sizes. You can also opt for thermal ceramic coated piston tops. Furthermore, it features moly piston skirt coating, 8 DLC coated wrist pins, and 16 pin locks. The set comes with 8 ring sets and a billet push-rod set of 16 rods. Cleveite rod and main bearings come in STD, .010, and .020 sizes. In addition, the kit contains cam bearings, a heavy-duty lifter set, and new Ford OEM lifter trays. For milled cylinder decks, reduced compression options are available. Finally, a freeze plug and oil galley plug kit complete the package.
