KC S3R Gen 2 Turbo Description
The KC Jetfire S3R Gen 2 Dual Ball Bearing Turbo targets drivers who want strong power gains and quick response. It works well on stock injectors and performs even better with larger injector setups up to 190cc. For this reason, it fits both street-driven trucks and performance builds.
Unlike journal-bearing turbos, the dual ball bearing design reduces friction. As a result, the S3R delivers smooth power across the RPM range while maintaining strong low-end torque.

KC S3R Gen 2 Turbo Exhaust Brake Compatibility
This turbo retains OEM exhaust brake functionality when vehicle calibration supports it. However, some aftermarket exhaust brake systems restrict exhaust flow. Because flapper-style designs create excessive backpressure, we do not recommend using them with this turbo.
