Upgrade your 7.3L Powerstroke valvetrain with Manton’s Series 5 Pushrods, engineered for high-performance diesel applications where factory pushrods simply aren’t up to the task. Built from premium 4130/4135 seamless chromoly tubing and finished with billet steel tip ends, these pushrods are designed to withstand the increased cylinder pressures, RPM, boost, and valve spring loads associated with modified engines.
Series 5 pushrods are manufactured using CNC-machined 86L20 bar stock tips that are core hardened and triple tempered for maximum durability and long-term reliability. With a tensile strength rating of 105,000 PSI, Series 5 pushrods provide a substantial strength increase over standard Series 3 designs, making them ideal for competition, towing, racing, and high-horsepower street applications.
The larger 7/16″ diameter design helps distribute load more evenly across the valve train while minimizing pushrod deflection. This increased rigidity improves valve timing accuracy under demanding conditions and helps maintain consistent valvetrain geometry at high RPM.
