Why Your L5P Needs Direct Shot Oiling
The factory L5P solid roller lifters rely purely on splash oiling and internal oil bleed-off to lubricate the critical roller axle and needle bearings. Under the stress of heavy towing, high boost, and increased valve spring pressures, that vital oil film breaks down. The result is a seized roller wheel that quickly wipes out your camshaft lobes.
DDPM solves this with a Direct Shot design. By routing pressurized engine oil through a precisely metered micro-hole straight to the needle bearings, it provides continuous, active lubrication exactly where it is needed most.
