Piston to Valve Clearance
- Keep valve recessions within factory specs (.013-.026 inches), with .022 to .024 inches ideal
- Ensure piston protrusion does not exceed .032 inches for drop-in fit
- Use billet or new OEM Ford pushrods

- Expect horsepower gains from 25 up to 70+ HP with proper supporting mods
- Upgrade valve springs and pushrods for best results
