These progressive springs Have 80%+ less deflection. For this reason, they are called progressive-rate springs. In these springs, there is not an equal distance between coils, so the rate of deflection Lessons as you compress the spring. This will keep your valve train more stable and less Harmonics as load increases = less valvetrain wear / failure.
