Piston Features
The Cerakote thermal coating on these pistons outperforms traditional ceramic coatings by effectively managing heat and reducing thermal fatigue. Additionally, the steel top ring groove provides exceptional durability, especially for street-strip trucks and long-term use. The Grafal moly-based friction coating on the piston skirts helps minimize wear and friction, extending the overall life of the pistons.
The piston ring set includes a plasma-coated steel top ring, a ductile iron second ring, and a 2-piece oil ring, all engineered for superior sealing and longevity. Furthermore, the coated piston tops aid in lowering engine temperatures, which improves performance and reliability. The pistons also feature milled valve pockets to accommodate larger camshafts, allowing for performance upgrades without clearance issues.

Ordering Information
When ordering, please specify the piston size required for your engine. Also, select the appropriate depth of fly-cut valve pockets based on your camshaft type:
- Stock, Stage 1, or Stage 2 cams: no valve pockets are required (optional .050″ pocket available)
- Stage 3-4 cams: select .075″ valve pockets
- High lift cams: choose .110″ valve pockets
Important Notice
To ensure a proper fit, always have your engine block cylinders measured by a qualified machine shop before placing your order. Selecting the wrong piston size can lead to engine damage and will require returning the product. Please note, changing piston size after shipment will incur restocking and shipping fees. Additionally, pistons with ceramic coatings or those that have been machined cannot be returned or exchanged.
